 Synopsis
This film was only allowed to be screened in Australia in the early 1980s. The movie is based on the true story of serial killer Ed Gein in the 1950s. A group of young people - Sally (played by Marilyn Burns), Franklin (played by Paul A. Partain), Jerry (played by Allen Danziger), Kirk (played by William Vail), and Pam (played by Teri McMinn) - drives an RV into the deserted town of Travis, Texas. On the way, they pick up a hitchhiker (played by Edwin Neal) who is battered and looks despondent, arousing their curiosity. They follow him to a creepy old house in an attempt to uncover the truth. The house is enveloped in a mysterious, terrifying atmosphere, as if a pair of eyes is always watching their every move. Just as this group of young people is filled with fear and confusion, the sound of a chainsaw suddenly erupts, and their final nightmare descends upon them...
