Joy is struggling to overcome the aftermath of a failed romance with Said (her best friend, first love, and also her ex-husband from whom she has not yet been divorced). Her greatest love now is their daughter, the lively and romantic SC. Because of this, when SC's boyfriend proposes in front of Joy, she is determined to end the engagement. To make matters worse, SC asks Joy to bring her estranged father home so both sets of parents can accompany her into marriage. Reluctantly, Joy arranges a business trip to Malta for Said's work. Seeing an opportunity, Joy plans with Said to break up SC and her boyfriend when they return home. However, Cupid has other plans and reignites the love between Joy and Said. Will they discover their love for each other and form a united family? Or will their plans backfire, proving that love does not get a second chance?
