In the second season, Miles Daly continues to search for a balance among three different lifestyles: he wants to be a genuine, successful film producer, he wants to be a responsible family man, and he also wants to maintain his identity as a professional criminal. His partner, the down-on-his-luck producer Rick, is forced to act as an FBI informant and agrees to wear a wire to gather intelligence, putting all of Miles' progress in Hollywood at risk. Rick also realizes that being in bed with drug lord Amara while collaborating with the federal agents trying to catch her won't end well. Meanwhile, Miles is faced with challenges from a money-laundering expert of a crime syndicate and a powerful Hollywood agent, the latter being the most dangerous and difficult opponent he's ever encountered. Miles and Rick's film "The Admiral's Mistress" will complete its director's cut in episode 2x02 and be presented to the audience, with Rick, Gladys, and Yago taking it to the Santa Barbara Film Festival. This season, Raymond Cruz will play Swayze, the leader of a Latin American prison gang, known for his brutality and bloodthirstiness. He idolizes movie star Patrick Swayze and always styles himself to look like him, with flowing long hair and dancing in an '80s style. Felicity Huffman, Isaac Keys, Steven Weber, Andrew Leeds, Amy Seimetz, Sonya Walger, and Alex Sawyer will also participate in this season.
