Yong Chun's founding master, Yan Yongchun (played by Bai Jing), along with her father, who was once a lay disciple of Shaolin, were falsely accused and had to move their family from Guangdong to the Dabie Mountains in Sichuan, making a living by running a tofu restaurant. Yan Yongchun is lively and combative, often using the martial arts taught by her father to fight in the streets. One day, the young master of the Liang family, Liang Bochao (played by Yu Shaoqun), is sent by his elders to visit Yan Yongchun for matchmaking, only to coincidentally witness her 'acting violently.'
