The Universal Private Detective Agency is a small detective agency with only three staff members, including the director Huang Ruo-si (played by Xu Guanwen). Due to the business being mediocre and Huang Ruo-si's miserly and harsh personality, the employees He Tun (played by Xu Guanying) and Ji Qi (played by Zhao Yazi) suffer, especially the former.
