Lost in thought and feelings in Mandarin

A woman sold a luminous pearl to an antique shop, claiming it held a significant secret, but was soon killed by an unidentified female assassin (played by Wang Xiaofeng). The shopowner (played by Qin Pei) asked Mingzai for help in photographing the pearl, but was unexpectedly discovered and killed by the assassin, who also stole the pearl. During this period, Mingzai met a woman named Hong (played by Chong Chuhong) and fell in love with her at first sight. However, when he returned to the photography studio that night, he found the female assassin dead there, and the police arrived at the scene. Hong appeared and saved Mingzai, willing to help him investigate the case. But later, Mingzai discovered that Hong was in cahoots with the assassin, having previously tricked him out of his negatives, leaving him feeling deeply disappointed and confused. Despite this, by chance, Mingzai learned about Hong's background and experiences, began to sympathize with her, and decided to secretly help her. His kindness ultimately moved Hong, leading to subtle changes in their relationship.
