The Nationalist Army's anti-Japanese soldier Xiao Jie (played by Jet Li) finally ushers in the victory of the War of Resistance after a bloody struggle, but the honor of a hero belongs to the American soldiers. Xiao Jie rushes to Qingdao to join his life-saving benefactor, Brother Zhang (played by Zhao Erkang), who has just kicked his daughter Xiao Rui (played by Song Jia), who works as a hostess, out of the house.
