In the ancient teahouse with a hundred years of heritage located on Qili Mountain Tang Street in Suzhou, the 'Five Treasures' are busy every day, filled with laughter. The boss and the boss's wife want to hire two new employees, but the boss's wife dislikes beautiful women, while the boss dislikes handsome men, resulting in the hiring process falling through. The fat chef Fugen wants to change his image by wearing a wig, but ends up catching it on fire. The fat chef's well-intentioned efforts backfire, leading to a mess. The male waiter Feng Xiaobao secretly has feelings for the Kunqu opera actress Li Ruoyi. He then asks the female worker Meng Li about women’s preferences and cosmetics, leading her to misunderstand and think he is confessing to her. In broad daylight, she dreams of Xiaobao coming to confess with flowers, creating a humorous situation. When she learns that Xiaobao is actually planning to give a gift to Li Ruoyi, she explodes in anger and starts secretly observing Xiaobao. The boss's director friend comes to the teahouse to scout for locations and actors, and unexpectedly, Fugen is chosen.
