Ten days later, a 747 passenger plane flying from Athens to Washington was hijacked by Abu Yafa's deputy, Antal, who demanded the U.S. government release Abu Yafa. David was tasked with resolving the crisis and pointed out that the terrorists intended to use a gas bomb to attack the U.S. homeland, so the plane must not be allowed to enter U.S. airspace. Meanwhile, Tevis proposed a bold plan: he wanted to lead the counter-terrorism special operations team to board the hijacked 747 via an aerial docking method.
