Liu Xi (played by Wu Jing), who was adopted by a lama since childhood, follows his adoptive father, Jixiang (played by Sammo Hung), to escort the 'Gong Buddha Sky Pearl'. However, along the way, a group of mysterious people steals it. Jixiang suspects that the incident is related to the 'Gemini Gate', which disappeared many years ago, so he contacts the principal from back then, Chang Zhong (played by Yuen Wah). After a long search, they finally discover the whereabouts of the pearl and get into a fierce fight with a group that seems to be part of the 'Gemini Gate'. In the end, Liu Xi manages to grab the 'Sky Pearl', but mistakenly hands it over to Chang Zhong's brother, Chang Yong. At the same time, more secrets are uncovered.
