Ambassador Han (played by Tzi Ma) chaired the crackdown on the smuggling activities of the Zhongtang crime group before being sent to the United States, and as a result, he has earned the wrath of his enemies. In the U.S., Zhongtang instructed his men to kidnap Ambassador Han's daughter, Su Yang (played by Julia Hsu), and demanded a ransom of 50 million dollars. While Carter has a loud and showy style, Lee is exceptionally skilled and operates quietly, leading to numerous misunderstandings and humorous situations between the mismatched duo. However, as crises unfold, the two gradually develop a rapport. Will their rescue operation ultimately succeed? This film won the Best Actress Award (Elizabeth Peña) at the 1999 Latin Media Arts Awards and the Best On-Screen Duo at the 1999 MTV Movie Awards.
