Frances Goldner (played by Johnny Hallyday) was once a formidable hitman 20 years ago. After retiring, he opened a restaurant in Paris and lived a quiet and peaceful life. One day, his daughter Aileen (played by Sylvie Testud), who settled in Macau, was attacked by unidentified killers, resulting in the deaths of her husband and two grandchildren, while Aileen managed to escape. Upon learning the news, Frances rushed from France to Macau. After seeing the horrific scene, he resolved to take revenge on those responsible for his daughter's family at all costs. Struggling in a new environment, Frances's investigation made no headway. By chance, he encountered an assassination attempt at a hotel, leaving a deep impression from the three killers: Ah Gui (played by Anthony Wong), Ah Zhu (played by Lam Ka Tung), and Fat Le (played by Lam Suet). After brief testing and interaction, Frances decided to hire Ah Gui and his partners as helpers. With the clues left by Aileen and the investigation at the crime scene, they gradually narrowed their circle, and a revenge mission quietly unfolded, while the underlying conspiracy slowly came to light...
