The local opera theater is run by Director Liu and a few disciples, but the income is meager, with only a few old men sneaking in every day. To keep the theater alive, Director Liu tries every possible way, but with little success, and their lives fall into a difficult situation. One day, a young and beautiful girl named Duan Xiaolan appears at the theater; she is the only young audience member and becomes the theater's hope.
