In 2005, NASA discovered an Earth-like exoplanet and determined that it might harbor intelligent life. To make contact with extraterrestrial beings, NASA initiated the 'Lighthouse Project' and activated a deep space communication array in Hawaii, sending out high-power signals as a test. A few years later, an alien spacecraft unexpectedly arrived. The Pacific Joint Navy Exercise fleet stationed in Hawaii was tasked with making contact. The protagonist, Navy Lieutenant Alex (played by Taylor Kitsch), was aboard a missile destroyer along with two other naval ships assigned as a reconnaissance team to approach the alien vessel. However, they were attacked and suffered heavy losses. Due to the shields deployed by the alien ship, other vessels in the joint fleet were unable to provide support, leaving them to fend for themselves. Ultimately, all three modern warships were destroyed. With no ships available, but with the need to destroy the communications station occupied by aliens, the only option was to use the USS Missouri, which had been converted into a floating museum, for a final attack. A World War II battleship against an alien high-tech vessel—who will prevail? What will be the fate of Earth?
