The Jetsons have made their film debut in a movie about family, friends, and all the related themes. George's penny-pinching boss, Mr. Spacely, is determined to operate his remote factory located on an ore asteroid miles away to produce 1,000,000 sprockets. However, all the vice-presidents assigned to manage it have mysteriously vanished, forcing Mr. Spacely to find someone else for the job—someone incredibly brave yet also quite foolish. So, he chooses George Jetson. Consequently, George prepares to take his family, including Jane, his sensible and loving wife; Judy, his rebellious teenage daughter who has started dating a super galactic rock star; Elroy, a basketball champion who is losing confidence in his father; and Rosie, their sassy maid. While Judy explores a massive shopping mall with a new boy, George goes to work with his new colleague, a robot foreman named Rudy 2. However, the factory faces sabotage on its opening day, prompting George to investigate and subsequently go missing. It then falls on Elroy and his new friends to rescue George, with Judy and Jane accompanying them on this adventure.
