Julio, an atypical young man, is still dependent at the age of thirty, living with his mother and grandmother, entangled with his ex-girlfriend, and is a timid individual standing out in a neighborhood where gang culture prevails. Upholding the belief that timid people live longer, Julio is dedicated to assisting former gang members in starting anew, working at Los Angeles' fifth-largest gang member rehabilitation center—Yibao Zhivao. At Yibao Zhivao, former gang members who decide to transform into law-abiding citizens can obtain all the necessary resources to take steps towards a new life, including but not limited to free legal consultations, professional tattoo removal, and master-level baking training courses... The entire staff at Yibao Zhivao wholeheartedly powers their mission with love, working together to create a friendly community. After his cousin— a former gang member and prison inmate—Luis is forced to join the rehabilitation program at Yibao Zhivao, Julio realizes that one of the reasons he has dedicated himself to helping others restart their lives for many years is to escape his own life issues. This time, taking the opportunity to rehabilitate his cousin, Julio decides to take back control of his own life.
