Lincoln (played by Ewan McGregor) and Jordan (played by Scarlett Johansson) believe they live in an isolated community. According to scientists, they are among the last surviving humans on Earth. Within their group, a lottery will determine who gets sent to a paradise-like island to live. However, until they are chosen, they must endure a life without freedom, heavily monitored.
