The evil First Order led by Snoke is sweeping away the last remnants of the Resistance with unprecedented destructive power. After much effort, Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) finally finds the reclusive Luke Skywalker (played by Mark Hamill) in a corner of the galaxy, while her own powers are slowly awakening. The severely damaged Resistance hangs by a thread; in a bid to escape the First Order's pursuit, Finn (played by John Boyega) and Rose (played by Kelly Marie Tran) flee from the main ship, trying to find someone who can bring them back to life, while the heroic Poe (played by Oscar Isaac) stays behind to witness the Resistance's most critical and desperate moments.
