Yedir Ahikarna is a story about Karan and Pooja who study at the same university in Pune. They meet and fall in love, and their relationship progresses smoothly until one day when they visit her brother's home in Mumbai. Pooja's flight is hijacked by a group of terrorists after their leader Ashraf-Ul-Haq Malik is captured. Ironically, this hijacking is orchestrated by Pooja's brother Vijay Varma, who is allied with the terrorist leader Ahmad Jalal. Vijay is unaware that his beloved sister Pooja is on the same flight. When he realizes this, he is powerless to act, as Ahmad forbids him from doing anything that would jeopardize their mission. Karan bravely risks his life to save Pooja and the other passengers, making Ahmad and Vijay his enemies. Ahmad now seeks to kill Karan. Vijay rejects Pooja and Karan's marriage.
