The ordinary izakaya Ak信 located in the shopping street of Kyoto is connected at its entrance to the ancient world of Aitiria. With a dedicated focus on food, the izakaya's owner, Nobuyuki Yazawa (played by Ryohei Otani), who embodies artisan spirit, and the signboard girl, Shinobu Chika (played by Rena Takeda), gradually win the hearts and stomachs of customers from different professions and identities in this otherworld, such as soldiers, artisans, merchants, and nobles, making Ak信 a beloved spot for many regulars. One day, a witch-like woman, Ingrid (played by Miki Mizuno), appears in the izakaya. At the same time, the archbishop Rodrigo (played by Satoshi Matsuo) hears rumors of the witch residing at Ak信 and begins to take action to capture the witch and those associated with her.
