The drama tells the story of the father-daughter relationship between an awkward father and his rebellious daughter. Hidetoshi Nishijima plays the genius conductor Junpei Natsume, who has zero abilities outside of music. Mana Ashida plays his daughter, 20-year-old Hibiki Natsume, who works at the city government. Contrary to her father, Hibiki hates music and lives a life devoid of it, having severed ties with her father due to a 'certain event' five years ago. However, after several decades, her father suddenly returns to the country, and the two begin an awkward living arrangement together.
