It is a spin-off of the popular TV series "Criminal Minds." Special Agent Sam Cooper, the unit chief, possesses an innate leadership quality and a great deal of passion. He is willing to risk losing his job to uphold his beliefs. Cooper works hard to avoid political bureaucracy and personally selects a diverse group of analysts to work outside the confines of Quantico. These analysts include: the strong-willed and outspoken Beth Griffith, a rookie fresh from the FBI's threat assessment task force; the confident and handsome former British Special Forces member Mick Rawson, a highly skilled sharpshooter with keen insight into evil; John "Prophet" Sims, a former criminal with a bit of street smarts, who has a calm, Zen-like demeanor and is determined to atone for past mistakes; Gina LaSalle, a charming and strong agent with sharp insight; and Penelope Garcia, a computer whiz who has assisted Agent Hotchner and the BAU team in handling the most challenging cases over the past few years.
