Julia and Sarah (played by Belen Rueda) are a pair of twin sisters. These beautiful sisters, in the prime of their lives, suffer from degenerative disorders. A year ago, Sarah became completely blind, and Julia's eyesight is also gradually deteriorating. One dark night, Sarah hangs herself. Feeling an inexplicable sense of unease, Julia and her husband Isaac (played by Lluis Homar) drive to her sister's home the next day, only to be met with the unbelievable news of her death. However, various signs suggest that Sarah may not have committed suicide; it seems she had a mysterious man accompanying her in her last moments. Julia tries to follow these clues, which makes Isaac very anxious, and her panic accelerates her vision decline.
