In a small town in Seto, the people's lives are calm and uneventful. The local policeman, Tomokawa (played by Eiji Okuda), spends his days riding a bicycle through the winding and narrow alleys of the town, helping residents solve various problems, occasionally encountering fleeting romantic encounters. One day, Tomokawa meets a lovely girl and names her Meizi (played by Mayu Ozawa). After a brief moment of joy, Tomokawa feels lost; despite searching for Meizi in the following days, he ultimately finds nothing. By chance, he reunites with Meizi, only to discover that she is a 15-year-old junior high school student. Their deep love breaks through the shackles of society, and Tomokawa and Meizi find themselves in a romance across generations with no future...
