Synopsis

The female university student Haruka Tsunemura (played by Rie Shinkai) lost her father to illness when she was still in high school, while her mother was too busy with work to take care of her and her siblings. Haruka had no friends and felt extremely lonely, often fantasizing about UFOs coming to take her away. One night, while jogging, she was kidnapped by a stranger named Tadayoshi Sumikawa (played by Yasuto Hida). Sumikawa is an introverted person who was deeply affected by the loss of his mother five years ago. He holds Haruka captive in his home, but does not harm her. As time passes, Haruka's guard and fear slowly diminish, and she begins to feel how similar their loneliness is. An extraordinary connection unfolds... This film is adapted from the work of Yoshiko Matsuda, the widow of Yusaku Matsuda, and is the second installment of the 'Complete Nurturing' series.
