Female journalist Namiki Tsuchiya specializes in writing reports on women who have been raped. During an interview, she meets Muraki, who was once a senior editor at a major magazine and is now searching for his wife. Muraki's wife was raped three years ago by a man who hated him, but she left Muraki because she found satisfaction from this man that Muraki could not provide. Muraki's story piques Namiki's interest, and it seems he has unusual feelings for her as well. At his introduction, Namiki goes to interview a nurse who had been raped, but ends up nearly being raped herself by this nurse. The subsequent plot twists are even more absurd... This film is the most complex and difficult to interpret in the 'Angel's Courage' series, yet it is also the most stylized and entertaining. The opening features a series of manga depicting rape, with multiple carefully designed, visually impactful sequences, and various victims recalling their experiences, which imbue the film with a clear psychoanalytic flavor. This enhances the film's artistic quality and sets up a strong foundation for its ultimate surreal ending. In the scene where the nurse describes her rape, director Noboru Tanaka captures the entire process with the tension of a top-notch horror film, demonstrating his impressive control over the genre.
