Late Night Invitation

Keiko Inagawa visited Dr. Aizawa, a psychiatrist, at her father's introduction because her fiancé, Kisou Tamura, was feeling somewhat neurotic. Kisou had been adopted by the Tamura family as a child and was the youngest of four brothers. Three of Kisou's brothers had disappeared inexplicably. The oldest brother, Junki, who ran a pharmacy in Kumamoto, had vanished two years ago, while the second brother, Kazuo, a nuclear researcher in Tokai Village, and the youngest brother, Shohei, who worked in the ice manufacturing business in Numazu, both went missing in the past two months. Kisou was worried that he might be next. Aizawa became interested in Keiko's story and met with Kisou. He suggested that since humans have the ability to foresee potential dangers in their dreams, it would be beneficial for Kisou to document his dreams as well. Keiko followed the mystery of the dreams by visiting her brothers' homes. From Shohei's wife, she learned that there was a faintly glowing old man in the photograph taken when Shohei visited his older brother Junki.
