Two Virginians are preparing to head to Texas to start a new life when they witness a stagecoach being robbed. They decide to rob the thieves and take the loot. To evade the police, they go their separate ways and do not see each other for a long time. When they meet again, they find themselves on opposite sides of the law. This leads to an increasing rift between these two people who once considered each other brothers.
