Back then, Yukio Todou (played by Gou Jihaki) was imprisoned for robbery and armed offenses. After seven years of suffering in prison, he regained his freedom and went to find Hirohira, who had teamed up with him during the robbery but fled at the last moment. Yukio has no intention of avenging himself on Hirohira, who has already established a happy family; instead, he hopes to find another accomplice, Youji, who was never present. After that, Yukio arrives at a desolate bar to visit the wife of his cellmate Ryouichi. During his time in prison, Yukio suffered from a sudden high fever, and Ryouichi got into a conflict with the guards to seek medical help for him, ultimately dying with regret. Yukio and another cellmate, Masakasou (played by Arata Iura), agree to take revenge on those who robbed them of their happiness once they are out of prison. Soon after, he arrives at the seaside Seagull Inn, where the owner is Youji, and he encounters a mysterious woman in white...This film is adapted from a novel by Funato with the same title.
