The drama mainly tells the story of the protagonist Rick, who is the deputy sheriff of a small town in the suburbs of Atlanta. While performing his duties, Rick is shot and seriously injured, and is urgently taken to a local hospital for rescue. When Rick wakes up, he finds that the hospital is empty.
