Jake feels deeply uneasy about entering the third year of junior high school. Charlie and Alan shared their own nightmarish experiences of that year with him, making matters worse. The stories had a significant negative impact on Jake, to the point that he got off the school bus on the first day and ran home to hide. Eventually, Charlie and Alan realized that the stories they told Jake were their own fears, which they inadvertently passed on to him. They decided to teach Jake how to cope with his fears, but things didn't go as planned. Charlie hesitated to go out with Evelyn, only to be surprised to discover she owns a large company. There, Charlie found himself amidst a group of stunning wealthy women. Allen heard some whispers about their enjoyment together and felt very jealous.
