Rina, a reporter, meets a woman named Kiriko while researching a project titled 'The Victim Now.' Eight years ago, as a high school student, Kiriko had a past of being confined and assaulted for three years by a criminal named Tamaki. During that time, a series of shocking murders occurred where men, lured by an unidentified woman, were stabbed to death with ice picks one after another. As Rina continues her investigation, she begins to suspect that Kiriko might be the serial killer.
