Blooming Flowers

In the bustling atmosphere of modernity, where snow, moon, wind, and flowers intertwine, men and women come and go, pursuing fame and fortune, chasing dreams, and following the endless desires within their hearts. Once an obscure young man named Abao (played by Hu Ge), in order to realize his dream of wealth, becomes a disciple of the old master (played by You Benchang). He then gallops through the stock market with a group of trusted associates, accumulating wealth and rising to great heights, achieving rapid success. Unsatisfied with the thrill of the stock market, Abao turns to the business world, where he enters into mutually beneficial cooperation with Miss Wang of No. 27 (played by Tang Yan), built on mutual trust. He also partners with his childhood friend Lingzi (played by Ma Yili) to open a restaurant, supporting each other inside and out; and he tests the waters with the new arrival, Madam Li Li of Zhizhenyuan (played by Xin Zhilei), with undercurrents flowing. The crowded and bustling Huanghe Road serves as a microcosm of Shanghai, showcasing myriad joys and sorrows, ups and downs. This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Jin Yucheng, which won the Mao Dun Literature Prize.
