Adapted from the renowned French detective drama 'Astrid et Raphaëlle', set to premiere on Channel 4 on January 8, 2025. Set in the historic city of York, all characters have English names: the autistic archivist Patience Evans portrayed by Ella Maisy Purvis; and the detective Bea Metcalf who discovers Patience's talent, played by Laura Fraser. All neurodiverse characters in this series are portrayed by neurodiverse actors, including the lead character Patience.
