Since Ryoichi Suzuki's (played by Hiroshi Hasegawa) rock dreams were shattered, he has been leading a dull life working at a musical instrument company. He is timid and has become a target of bullying and ridicule by everyone at the company. Among these people, only Yuko Terashima (played by Kumiko Asou), who also feels lonely, looks at him with sympathy. One day, Ryoichi buys a small turtle and pours out all his unfulfilled dreams to it in his room. However, after being mocked by his colleagues, he angrily throws the turtle into the toilet. The turtle ends up in a mysterious place via the sewer, where a ragged old man (played by Toshiyuki Nishida) possesses magical candies that can make abandoned toys and animals speak, and the small turtle accidentally eats a candy that can make dreams come true. It remembers Ryoichi's dreams, and as those dreams begin to be realized, the turtle grows bigger and bigger.Ryoichi's fate takes a turn as he embarks on the path toward his unfinished rock dream once again...
