During the sixteenth century of the Joseon Dynasty, a nationwide counterfeit currency case caused considerable trouble for the court. The female detective Nam Sun (played by Ha Ji-won) and her seasoned yet humorous partner Detective Ahn (played by Ahn Sung-ki) are determined to investigate this case.
