The plan involves Natalie luring wealthy single men as bait, then having the two men break in to rob them. However, the operation spirals out of control and results in murder. Director Bertrand Tavernier vividly portrays the nihilistic lifestyle of rootless youth with modern themes and a rebellious spirit, making it an excellent piece of social realism that won the Golden Bear for Best Film at the Berlin Film Festival.
