The emperor was seriously ill and needed to use the relics from the little living Buddha to be cured.The fifth prince, who learned about this, found the abbot of Shaolin Temple and ordered him to hand over the little living Buddha. The abbot refused to obey, and the fifth prince sent troops to slaughter Shaolin Temple.Under the entrusted by the abbot, Xinyi (played by Li Ruotong) embarked on the journey of escape with eighteen monks including Fuzai (played by Hu Bin), Shentong (played by Zhou Tianlong) and Chunzi (played by Chen Zhuo), and the little living Buddha was among them.
