"Dinosaur" tells the story of Nina (played by Ashley Storie), a woman in her 30s with autism, who enjoys living with her sister and best friend, Ivy. However, when Ivy hastily gets engaged and asks Nina to be her maid of honor, Nina is thrown for a loop. Forced to come to terms with her sister's impulsive decision, Nina struggles to understand what this new challenge means. Nina's relationship with her sister isn't the only change as she explores new possibilities in her paleontology career. Introduced to potential new relationships in her life by the kind-hearted Lee, he helps Nina approach these new challenges with a more positive attitude. As their relationship develops, we see that Nina offers as much support to Lee as he offers to her.
