In December 1944, in the Ardennes Forest in Belgium, Lieutenant Conti of the U.S. Army's 2nd Infantry Division ordered Sergeant Matherson to have his men deliver ham to the front line. On the way, Matherson's squad encountered a German attack, resulting in the destruction of vehicles and supplies. During their retreat to the camp, they accidentally stumbled upon a German atomic bomb testing site, where they found an injured American intelligence officer. Before dying, the officer urgently pressed them to infiltrate Stuttgart, still occupied by German forces, to sabotage the German atomic bomb program. Subsequently, Matherson's squad set out on a dangerous and arduous mission... ultimately, they managed to bring back a fully developed atomic bomb made by the Germans, as well as rescue a large group of prisoners of war.
