In the last episode, Alice (played by Milla Jovovich) rescued her frozen companions, but as they were leaving, they were brutally eliminated by the arriving mercenaries. The T-virus caused the Red Queen (played by Megan Charpentier) to malfunction, turning her into a bloodthirsty villain who wanted to exterminate the last of humanity and destroy the Earth. The only one who could stop the Red Queen was Alice herself. However, at this moment, the powerless Alice was imprisoned by the Umbrella Corporation in a secret base located deep underwater. Wesker (played by Shawn Roberts) hacked into the Umbrella Corporation's system using the virus, freed Alice, and informed her that she was humanity's last hope. To save humanity, they must put aside their differences and join forces against a stronger enemy. Along the way, Alice met former Umbrella employee Ada Wong (played by Li Bingbing), and the two forged a strong friendship as they bravely fought their way through.
