This work is adapted from the manga of the same name, "Perfect World." The protagonist, Itsuki Ayukawa (played by Tori Matsuzaka), is disabled from the waist down due to an accident and can only live using a wheelchair. He reunites with his high school classmate, Tsugumi Kawana (played by Mizuki Yamamoto), at a class reunion. After developing feelings for each other, the two must face opposition from their parents, illness and pain, obstacles in life, and complications that come with disability. "What is happiness, after all?" What choices will they make?
