Infatuated with her high school senior Yoshikawa (played by Kato Kentaro) and determined to marry him, the beautiful and pure-hearted girl Akiko (played by Tokunaga Eiko) leaves her hometown and travels to the university where her lover is studying. She searches for him from the music classroom to the psychology classroom but never sees Yoshikawa. Instead, she accidentally discovers that he has already fallen into depravity, becoming a frivolous and boring man, openly engaging in sexual acts with a female classmate in the broadcasting room. Heartbroken, Akiko decides to return to her hometown.
