The expressive Zheng Mantang (played by Wang Xi) uses his unique characteristics to establish an emotional companionship company, providing crying and laughing services for occasions that need emotional stimulation. Beautiful and intelligent Sasha (played by Xiao Qiang) decides to leave her boyfriend and boss Tang Yongxiao because she no longer wants to live in a relationship without marriage, thus returning to a single life. Unfortunately, Zheng Mantang loses the sensation in his facial nerves after being assaulted, making it impossible for him to display crying or laughing expressions for a period of time, with no predictable recovery time. At this low point in his life, he meets Sasha, and as they interact, Sasha's impression of Mantang improves.
