"Kauffman's Game" tells the story of Stanley, a passionate and driven young man who loves boxing and is eager to improve his strength and endurance. When a mysterious stranger approaches him outside the boxing gym and offers him a special type of steroid, Stanley is drawn into a powerful organization's increasingly violent operations, unknowingly undergoing a series of tests designed to prove his courage. It is a film about strength, determination, and becoming one's own greatest enemy. It pays homage to the archetypes of classic film noir, as well as Franz Kafka's dark, conspiratorial narrative techniques, while incorporating contemporary minimalist aesthetics.
