Synopsis

The story takes place 20 years after the Battle of Shipwreck Cove in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End." A boy named Henry (played by Brenton Thwaites) sets sail with the British Navy to find his father, "Davy Jones" Will Turner (played by Orlando Bloom), who is cursed by the Chest of Souls. However, he encounters the freed undead Captain Salazar (played by Javier Bardem) in the Bermuda Triangle. The freed Salazar slaughters Caribbean pirates and conquers the entire sea, killing Captain Hector Barbossa (played by Geoffrey Rush), the pirate king of the Red Sea, who learned from the witch Haifaa Meni (played by Golshifteh Farahani) about Salazar's true objective: to find his nemesis, Captain Jack Sparrow (played by Johnny Depp). The pirates' fate rests on the decrepit old Jack and the cursed ship, the Black Pearl.
