Synopsis

Kyujik (played by Kwon Sang-woo) is a student at the seminary, whose "sublime ideal" is to become a priest, making him very pure; he has never even been in a relationship. This "model student" is punished for a mishap and sent to a rural church for penance. Bong-hee (played by Ha Ji-won) has just returned from America, eager to reunite with her boyfriend, only to find him flirting with another woman. Heartbroken, Bong-hee drinks to excess and collapses in Kyujik's church. Bong-hee's uncle is the church priest, and he orders Kyujik to redeem Bong-hee and help her receive divine baptism. This task leaves Kyujik distressed, wondering how he can transform the lively Bong-hee. However, as they spend time together, Kyujik discovers something even more troubling: he has fallen in love with Bong-hee. But for the sake of his ideal, he believes that becoming so emotional is completely unacceptable. Will he be willing to sacrifice his ideals for a romantic love?
