Liberate Shijiazhuang

In the autumn of 1947, our People's Liberation Army launched a strategic counteroffensive. The troops first attacked the outskirts of Shijiazhuang to draw enemy reinforcements, trying to besiege the city when the enemy forces were weak. However, the commander of the Nationalist forces, General Luo (played by Tang Gaoqi), had anticipated our plan to lure them away and did not rashly send troops. Our army, led by Brigade Commander Zhong Tianmin (played by Wang Yuxiao), intensified the attack on Xushui, but the enemy would not take the bait. Our troops pretended to withdraw to the west, and the cunning enemy finally came out; we took the opportunity to surround and assault Shijiazhuang. Company Commander Pan Youcai (played by Feng Enhui) was hit by an incendiary bomb but still charged towards the enemy's tank with a bundle of explosives. Soldier Sun Yong (played by Liu Jizhong) seized the enemy’s machine gun and charged to a high ground, ultimately sacrificing himself with a smile in the arms of his company commander. The local people stirred up a wave of support for the front lines, organizing stretcher teams and truck convoys to transport the wounded and deliver ammunition. Militia leader Su Yueqin (played by Zhao Juanjuan) led the militia to support the front lines. The liberation of Shijiazhuang was imminent...
