The story takes place just as World War II ended, Germany was defeated in the war, and most of the German troops became prisoners of war and were sent to prisoners of war camps.In a prisoner of war camp located near Leningrad, a new group of German prisoners of war came. The person in charge of guarding them was a group of heroic Russian women, whose direct boss was General Paplov (played by John Malkovich).
