After two years in hiding, Dominic (played by Vin Diesel) teams up again with Brian (played by Paul Walker) to steal a mysterious luxury car from a train, leading to a hot pursuit by both the police and gangsters. Brian and Mia (played by Jordana Brewster) head to Rio to find reinforcements and reunite with Dominic. To find out the whereabouts of Dominic and the others, FBI agent Luke (played by Dwayne Johnson) steps up, forming an elite team to track them down in Rio. He hires the beautiful police officer Elena (played by Elsa Pataky), who has lost her husband, to help search for Dominic. Meanwhile, local criminals open fire on these uninvited guests, causing three forces to become entangled in conflict.
